Raquel Behar 

 Mental Health Intern

Raquel Behar is a Master’s Level Registered Mental Health Intern, currently working under supervision. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Supportive Therapy, Mindfulness, Art and Sandplay. She received training in psychotherapy for developmentally delayed children, specifically with ADHD or behavioral concerns. Raquel has worked with a variety of children of all ages, school administrators and parents. She has led workshops in schools bringing awareness to parents on children's nutrition, safety, physical and emotional wellbeing. 

Raquel graduated from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling in 2016. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology with minors in Behavioral Science and History at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. At MGill, she studied abroad at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel, where she received training in trauma and resilience.
